Just because some poets write depressing stuff doesn't mean they all do. Even if they do, it can still be good and it's not just a way of saying life sucks!! It's about expessing yourself and deeper meanings. Just because you can't appreciate poetry, doesn't mean that other people can't.

that was depressing! Poets can also write about beautiful thoughts as well.

i disagree.... poets write beautiful things... even if they're depressing. I agree with h2opologirl.
